FAQs: Yoga Practice in Dubai

What does yoga cost in Dubai?

Studio classes cost AED 75–140 drop-in, AED 450–850 for unlimited monthly. Private instructors charge AED 250–450 per home session. Community and beach classes can be AED 30–50 or donation-based.

Which yoga style should I start with?

Hatha or slow-flow vinyasa for most beginners; yin if you want deep stretching and stress relief. Avoid advanced ashtanga or hot yoga until you have a few months of practice.

Is hot yoga safe in Dubai?

Yes in studio-controlled heat (35–40°C) with proper hydration. Ironically, Dubai's hot-yoga studios are well-equipped. Hydrate with electrolytes beforehand and skip it if pregnant or hypertensive without medical advice.

Where can I practise beach yoga in Dubai?

Kite Beach and JBR host regular sunrise and sunset classes from October to April. Several instructors run private and small-group beach sessions bookable through GetFitDXB.

How often should I do yoga to see benefits?

Two or three weekly sessions noticeably improve flexibility, stress and sleep within a month. Even one weekly class plus 10 minutes daily home practice compounds quickly.
